Champagny en Vanoise
CHAMPAGNY EN VANOISE is a mountain village and tourist resort with a ''sparkling'' name which makes a virtue of being different :
- Champagny Resort (alt 1250 m):
The heart of the village and the resort where all the main shops and services are to be found.
- The Valley of Champagny le haut (alt 1450 m) :
A superbly conserved valley designated one of "the natural sites and monuments of France" for the beauty of its landscape and the preserved architecture of its villages. It is also the gateway to the Vanoise National Park (the oldest national park in France, created in 1963) and one of the most beautiful settings for the enjoyment of cross country skiing and the region’s Nordic activities.
Opening : From 12th December 2009 to 24th April 2010.
