Tuiles au Chevrotin (savoury cakes)

Cooking time 15 min serves 4

- 60g grated Chevrotin

- 60 g crushed hazlenuts

- 60 g flour

- 1 tbl spoon honey (honeydew if possible)

- 2 egg whites

- 60 g melted butter

- Salt and pepper

- Combine all ingredients

- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour

- Line an oven tray with baking parchment. Use a deep spoon to make oval shapes then pop them on the baking tray leaving enough space between each one (you can also use the base of a concave wine botttle to make the traditional shape)

- Cook them at 220°c until golden.

Leave them to cool.

Gratin de Poires de Savoie au CacaO

Cooking time 25min serves 4

- 2 Conférence de Savoie (conical) pears

- 40 g flour

- Oil

- 1 tblsp cocoa powder

- 1 tsp cinnamon powder

- 2 eggs

- 35 cl semi-skimmed milk

- 30 g castor sugar

- salt

- Preheat the over to 190°c (th 5)

- Peel, core and slice the pears in half

-Slice the pear halves thinly

- Use a brush to lightly grease a cake tin with four moulds

- Divide the pear into the four moulds

- Combine in a bowl the flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt

- Add the eggs, sugar and slowly add the milk

- Pour the mixture on top of the pears and cook for 25 min

- Remove from the moulds and serve warm.
