In the Champagny en Vanoise valley will be the week’s breather.
Above all the Gorzderette is a gathering of enthusiasts who love the mountains. It’s also a multi-activity tournament of "sports-for-fun" (ice climbing, archery, Nordic skiing, big air, hay sled runs) centred on the ice climbing tower.
In the evening it becomes the top place for concerts. This event is also a chance for the world’s best ice-climbers to get together for a weekend when the order of the day is: "Relax, it’ll be just fine!"
Internationally renowned climbers, the likes of Daniel Dulac, François Damilano, the Slovak Marko Prezelj winner of the 2007 Golden Ice Axe, come and chill out for a weekend with their friends. This gathering of frozen fellows sets the tone for an ultra congenial weekend of festivities.
